Remote Hands Services

Stelliums colocation services are supported by our smart-hands services that can perform complex on-site tasks on your behalf, including racking and cabling; moves, adds and changes; telecommunications; security; and any troubleshooting that may be required. We deploy Zendesk as a client service interface and ticketing system.

Cross Connects

Stellium can provide a range of connectivity options including; fibre, UTP/STP or coax to meet your business needs. Our technicians install and manage the connections which run through a secure MMR (Meet-Me Room).

Our cross connects are physically hardwired, ensuring lower latency and better reliability for your networking requirements.

Direct contracting

Choosing your own data centre and asking management companies to maintain your equipment within our facilities means you can change management companies and not have to move your own estate at considerable costs and downtime to your business, or be held prisoner by your own service provider.  Many of the largest Service Integrators help us run and manage our clients infrastructure but the contact for data centre services is held between us and you.

Physical Security

The physical security of your rack deployments is critical to our operational culture and we have the people, systems, processes, and experience to deliver the secure data services you require.

We offer credential-based access control, intrusion detection and unified video surveillance with interior and exterior cameras throughout our Newcastle campus. Two-factor access authentication and man traps are standard at our data centres, along with user-based permissions and managed security zones.

Metered Power Contracts

Stellium provides metered power contracts – energy is now 70% of your data centre cost so this is a major issue for your business in terms of transparency.

Cooling

Stellium has no cooling issues – unlike London data centres who experience major cooling issues, Stellium have none.
